PUNK BAND RELEASES NEW CD AS FREE PSP DOWNLOAD


June 5, 2005 (San Diego, CA) -- The Experiments, a Punk / Rock band based in San Diego, 
have released their new, self titled CD as a free download specially formatted for the 
Sony PSP.  The download can be found on their web site, at http://theexperiments.com/psp1.html.  
Dave Blood, the band's bass player, said "I got a Sony PSP last weekend, and I immediately 
started looking for music and movie downloads for it.  I didn't really find very much, so 
I figured I'd create something."

The download contains all 18 tracks from the CD, plus front and back cover art and liner 
notes, all formatted for the PSP.  The tracks are high quality mp3 files.  The band
 believes the new fans that can be found by giving the CD away far outweighs any sales lost.

Already, the response has been overwhelming.  "We had to move it onto a new server, with 
a new service provider, because it was using all the bandwidth we had on the old server, 
just after the first day." said Blood.

About The Band: The Experiments have been playing their brand of Punk and Rock since 1994.  
The new, self titled CD was released on May 21, 2005 and is their third effort.
